Photography for your wedding day will always involve questions, here’s a selection of FAQ’s I hope will answer some of the questions you may have. However if they don’t please get in touch to talk some more.
01. What can I expect from you on the day?
I love to look for opportunities to photograph the details, where you look back and think I don’t even remember that. Maybe a hug, a kiss a warm embrace with an old friend. Those are the memories that are to cherish.
02. How long do the bride and groom photos take?
I normally suggest 30 minutes for Bride and Groom pictures. I’m a big fan of capturing the magic between you on your wedding day. 30 minutes is ideal to set aside, but it maybe that it doesn’t need that long to get the images we want.
03. Do you do group shots, I have a list of group shots?
It’s your wedding day, and your prerogative to have the pictures you want from your day. I suggest around 5-6 group shots that are your main priority. Guests have a wonderful habit of wandering off after the ceremony and making their way to the reception so a target of 5 of the most important ones makes for a less chaotic experience for everyone on the day.
04. How long will I have to wait for my photographs?
My aim is to have clients galleries ready approximately 3 to 4 weeks after your wedding.
05. Do I have copyright to all the images?
No, as the Photographer I retain complete copyright on all images. However you get a print release that allows you to download and print as many images as you want and in any size required from your online gallery. Your photos are also available to you on a USB that you are welcome to share with friends and family.
06. Do you offer a Pre-Wedding Consultation?
Indeed, in fact I would recommend it! You can also chat with me by email, Facebook or Skype, and ask me whatever questions you have.
07. How far do you travel for weddings?
I am happy to travel anywhere in the UK to photograph your wedding, or if you’re off abroad to get married, I’m also happy to come along for that too! A small charge maybe applicable to cover transport costs if your wedding location is outside a 75 mile radius of Redditch, Worcestershire.
08. Are you insured?
I have both professional indemnity and also public liability insurance for complete peace of mind on both our parts. A lot of venues require public liability as a matter of course now.
