To be by the sea

Just a little over a week ago, I managed a very quick overnight trip to Cornwall… one of my favourite UK spots to savour some of the early Summer sunshine we had started to encounter.

In fairness, the weather was beautiful but not ideal for the landscape photographer. Blue cloudless skies and bright sun aren’t the ideal companion & with Sunrise at around 3.15am, there was no chance that was going to happen either!

But, the great thing was wandering along the cliffs (whatever the weather) with a camera in hand on my own certainly is good for the soul!

I love the sheer beauty and ruggedness of Cornwall and can’t wait to get back in less than favourable conditions again sometime soon.
